Meanwhile, Mountain Vista faced Valor Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Mountain Vista took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valor Christian. The Golden Eagles' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
