Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King's last matchup with Splendora could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The King Panthers lost 9-1 to the Splendora Wildcats. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for King and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1. As for Splendora, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

King has already played their next matchup, a 7-3 victory against Westfield on the 27th. As for Splendora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-1 loss against Shadow Creek on the 27th.
