Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Thayer Central

Thayer Central lost to Wahoo back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Titans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors.

While Thayer Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18.

Piper Havel paced Thayer Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Havel got some help from Olivia Wiedel and her 19 assists. Leah Havel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Wahoo lost, don't look at Elena Estudillo. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two assists. Estudillo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
