Soccer Recap: Venice Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Venice hasn't lost a match since December 23, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They skirted past the Palisades Dolphins 2-1. For the Gondoliers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Dolphins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Billy Quinn and Christian Marroquin scored both of Venice's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Venice is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those nine games. As for Palisades, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-3-2.
