Softball Recap: Lindhurst's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Lindhurst waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the San Juan Spartans 20-6. Considering the Blazers have won 12 games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lindhurst let Kimberly Diaz-Valadez and Summer Miller run wild. Diaz-Valadez went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base, while Miller went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Diaz-Valadez continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Ortiz, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lindhurst kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Lindhurst's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for San Juan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

As of now, neither Lindhurst nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
