Basketball Game Preview: Bastrop Rams vs. Minden Crimson Tide

The Bastrop Rams will take on the Minden Crimson Tide at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bastrop has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Bastrop is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 59-39 margin over Cecilia. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Bastrop's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alana Myles, who posted 19 points. Kayleah Wilson was another key player, putting up 19 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minden). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 win over Northwest on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crimson Tide have posted since December 29, 2023.

Bastrop's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Minden, their victory bumped their record up to 14-12.
