Basketball Recap: Atlas Homeschool Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Atlas HomeSchool had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 72-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders. The Rattlers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

The victory (which was Cornerstone Christian Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Atlas HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 94-46 win against Johnson County Sports Association on the 12th. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Throckmorton at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
