Volleyball Recap: Denison Takes a Loss

Denison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the McKinney North Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-13.

McKinney North got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malia McNeal out in front who had four digs and two aces. McNeal is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played.

Denison's defeat dropped their record down to 13-22. As for McKinney North, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Denison will take on rival Melissa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McKinney North is set to face off against their familiar foe Lovejoy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
