Overbrook had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

The team relied heavily on Gianna Simon, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Alaina Dufresne, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Overbrook's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Camden County Vo-Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Overbrook will be playing in front of their home fans against Lower Cape May at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.63 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. Camden County Vo-Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
