After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren Township, Lake Zurich was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Grayslake North Knights as they made off with a 19-8 victory. Considering the Bears have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lake Zurich pushed their record up to 8-10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Grayslake North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.

Lake Zurich didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 loss against Stevenson on the 28th. As for Grayslake North, they will take on Grant Community at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
