Volleyball Preview: Southwestern Spartans vs. Knightstown Panthers

On Monday Southwestern will have to hit the road after four straight games at home. They will venture away from home to take on the Knightstown Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

Southwestern came up short against Eastern Hancock on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Spartans have struggled against the Royals recently, as their game on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-13.

Southwestern's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ruby Garner, who had seven digs and six kills, and Kelsey Stringer, who had five digs and two aces. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: Stringer now served two or more in the last four games she's played.
