Mason Classical Academy was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Donahue Catholic, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Paladins in their matchups with the Shamrocks: they've now won nine in a row.

Mason Classical Academy took Donahue Catholic into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-9.

If Naples Classical wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Everglades City, they should've done a better job of containing Aria Mitchell. The Gators put the hurt on the Academy with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Mitchell, who had 11 aces and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Everglades City took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-6.

Mason Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Everglades City, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
