Volleyball Recap: Liberty Leopards vs. East
Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to East. The Leopards were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-19.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for East, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Champion the next time they take the court. Liberty will head out to face Champion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while East will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
