Volleyball Recap: Cajon Takes a Loss

After flying high against Citrus Valley on Monday, Cajon came back down to earth. The Cowboys fell 3-1 to the Yucaipa Thunderbirds on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss back in March.

Cajon started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-21.

Cajon's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Yucaipa, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-10.

Cajon is on the road again on Saturday to play Canyon at 9:00 a.m. Yucaipa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
