Volleyball Recap: Beaufort Comes Up Short

Beaufort suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Bishop England Battling Bishops. The Eagles have struggled against the Battling Bishops recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Beaufort saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaedyn Couch had seven digs and two aces. Carson Crosby also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Beaufort's loss dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Bishop England, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Coming up, Beaufort will take on Ohio County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop England, they will challenge Nation Ford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
