Football Recap: Wyoming Piles Up the Points Against Madeira

Wyoming won the last time they faced Madeira and things went their way on Friday too. The Cowboys took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS. Considering the Cowboys have won four games by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson Hamilton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 102 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries, while also picking up 56 receiving yards and one score. David Dupee was another key player, throwing for 187 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wyoming was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Wyoming didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Donovan Brown and Tyler Johnson-Huff.

The victory was the third in a row for Wyoming, bringing their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for Madeira, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.
