Football Recap: Iroquois West Takes a Loss

Iroquois West fell victim to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Raiders have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Aayden Miller threw for 51 yards on six of ten attempts. Aaron Songer was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards. On the ground, Christian Gaytan rushed for 32 yards.

Iroquois West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iroquois West will venture away from home to face off against Momence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they will challenge Salt Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Storm will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
