Volleyball Recap: Chase Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the R-S Central Hilltoppers. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hilltoppers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Chase started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 26-24, 26-24.

Chase's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for R-S Central, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chase will square off against rival Hibriten at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, R-S Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Patton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
