Baseball Preview: Honesdale Hornets vs. Mid Valley Spartans
The Honesdale Hornets will head out to take on the Mid Valley Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Honesdale came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Lake-Lehman, falling 9-1.
Honesdale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Martin, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Mid Valley hadn't done well against Riverside recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday.
