Soccer Game Preview: Apache Junction vs. Valley Christian

The Apache Junction Prospectors will head out to face off against the Valley Christian Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Apache Junction will be strutting in after a victory while Valley Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

While Apache Junction fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. They came out on top against Tonopah Valley by a score of 4-2 last Monday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Prospectors were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian came up short against ALA - Ironwood on Monday and fell 3-1. The loss was the Trojans' first of the season.
