Softball Recap: Taylorsville Takes a Loss

If Taylorsville was feeling good fresh off their 28-6 takedown of Leake County last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tartars lost 16-1 to the Sebastopol Bobcats on Tuesday. The Tartars have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Taylorsville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylea Bynum, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. That hit was Bynum's first of the season.

Taylorsville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Sebastopol, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

As of now, neither Taylorsville nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
