Baseball Game Preview: First Academy Eagles vs. Legacy Charter Eagles

For the second straight game, First Academy will face off against Legacy Charter. First Academy will be playing at home against Legacy Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. First Academy has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

First Academy was handed a 15-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Legacy Charter 16-14. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for First Academy considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Dylan Bell was a standout: he went 4-for-6 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Bell, who went 3-for-6 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: First Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Legacy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for First Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-14.
