It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Nashville had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed past the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians to the tune of 58-28. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 26 games by 20 points or more this season.

Carlyle lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sophia Hoffmann, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Lera Schmeink, who had seven points and six boards.

Nashville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.6 points. Carlyle's loss dropped their record down to 26-6.
