Soccer Game Preview: Princeton vs. Ripley

Princeton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand PikeView a 2-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Ripley made easy work of Herbert Hoover on Tuesday and carried off a 6-0 win. Ripley haven't had any issues with Herbert Hoover recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ripley hit Herbert Hoover with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cade McCoy (2), Chase Gandee (2), Brenton Scholl, and Zander Kestner.

Ripley's win bumped their record up to 11-7-3. As for Princeton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6-2.

Everything went Princeton's way against Ripley in their previous matchup back in September, as Princeton made off with a 6-3 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
