Meanwhile, California Academy of Math & Science beat Vistamar 3-1 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won six in a row.

California Academy of Math & Science walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 24-26, 25-18, 28-26.

New Roads' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for California Academy of Math & Science, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
