MacArthur waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cole Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Taylor McCown paced MacArthur's offense, picking up eight kills. McCown got some help from Elizabeth Martin and her nine assists. Sadie Becho controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

MacArthur's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Cole, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

MacArthur didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Luling on the 21st. As for Cole, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Falls City on the 21st.
