Softball Recap: Newark Valley Comes Up Short

Newark Valley fell victim to Union Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 23-0. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row dating back to last season.

Newark Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Newark Valley will take on Tioga at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Union Springs, they will square off against Southern Cayuga at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Wolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
