Softball Recap: Beechwood Comes Up Short

Beechwood lost against Scott back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 10-9.

Beechwood has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Scott, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1.

Looking ahead, Beechwood will venture away from home to take on Newport at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Scott, they will be playing at home against Boone County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Rebels will have lost nine straight heading into Friday's contest.
