Soccer Recap: Dothan Comes Up Short

Dothan lost to Montgomery Academy back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Eagles who were credited with the win. The Montgomery Academy Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Dothan Wolves' four. Dothan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Dothan's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-4. As for Montgomery Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8-2.

Coming up, Dothan will challenge Prattville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Montgomery Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
