Eastern Christian HomeSchool made up a huge gap compared to their last game against John Paul II Catholic, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers blew past the John Paul II Catholic Saints 22-6 on Friday. For the Trailblazers, this counts as revenge for the 12-6 victory the Saints walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Eastern Christian HomeSchool's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0. As for John Paul II Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Christian HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cape Hatteras at 6:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for John Paul II Catholic, they are taking a road trip to take on Southside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
