Soccer Recap: Zane Trace Comes Up Short

Zane Trace was the 2-1 winner over Westfall when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell 2-0 to the Mustangs on Monday. While losing is never fun, Zane Trace can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while Westfall are ranked 132nd).

Zane Trace is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5-1. As for Westfall, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Looking ahead, Zane Trace will challenge Amanda-Clearcreek at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westfall, they will face off against Centennial at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
