Basketball Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Atlantic Trojans took a blow against the Ballard Bombers, falling 71-27. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Bombers are ranked 19th).

Atlantic has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. Ballard's win bumped their record up to 19-2.

As of now, neither Atlantic nor Ballard have any future games scheduled.
