Northeast Guilford lost against Rockingham County back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Cougars. Northeast Guilford have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Kevin Mendoza, which was the first he's scored this season.

Northeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rockingham County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Northeast Guilford didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Morehead on the 19th. As for Rockingham County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-3 loss against Dudley on the 18th.
