Football Recap: Wylie Prep Academy Comes Up Short

If Wylie Prep Academy was feeling good fresh off their 84-48 takedown of Greenville Christian last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots were dealt a 78-30 loss at the hands of the Heritage Christian Eagles on Saturday. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-30.

Wylie Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Heritage Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Wylie Prep Academy and Heritage Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Patriots see the field they'll take on Greenville HomeSchool Athletics at 2:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Heritage Christian, their break will end when they face Lakehill Prep at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
