18 must be Brookings-Harbor's lucky number: they beat Bandon/Pacific with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Bruins beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 18-4. Considering the Bruins have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Brookings-Harbor, bringing their record up to 13-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bandon/Pacific, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
