Basketball Recap: Monadnock Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Monadnock's game last Sunday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past the Stevens Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 50-35. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Monadnock's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Stevens, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Monadnock has already played their next matchup (against Kearsarge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stevens will host Conant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Conant knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Stevens likes a good challenge.
