Basketball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Richards Bulldogs, falling 85-27.

Johnson got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Adriene Collier and Ollie Bradshaw, who each put up six points. Collier also led the team in assists with two. Jayden McNeil held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Richards, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Johnson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-35 loss against Hansberry on the 1st. As for Richards, they have also already played their next matchup, a 69-40 defeat against St. Laurence on the 30th.
