Soccer Recap: Academy of the Americas Takes a Loss

Academy of the Americas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pontiac Phoenix.

Academy of the Americas' loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Pontiac, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy of the Americas will take on Renaissance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pontiac, they will square off against Harper Woods at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pontiac are facing Harper Woods at the right time seeing as Harper Woods are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
