Softball Recap: Incarnate Word Academy Comes Up Short

Incarnate Word Academy fell victim to St. Agnes Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Incarnate Word Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for St. Agnes Academy, bringing their record up to 12-3-1.

Coming up, Incarnate Word Academy will head out on the road to face off against St. Pius X at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Agnes Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Episcopal at 5:45 p.m.
