Softball Recap: Los Amigos Takes a Loss

Los Amigos fell victim to Santiago and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Los Amigos and nudges their season record down to 14-6. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 20-3 Anaheim (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 77.6% over those games). As for Santiago, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

Los Amigos didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against Western on the 5th. As for Santiago, they have also already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Anaheim on the 5th.
