Baseball Recap: Desert View Comes Up Short

Desert View managed to slip by Buena the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jaguars came up short against the Colts on Tuesday, falling 14-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Joshua Valenzuela was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Miguel Siqueiros, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Desert View's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Buena, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

While Desert View had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
