Football Game Preview: McEachern Indians vs. Harrison Hoyas + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the McEachern Indians and the Harrison Hoyas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after five games, but that won't be the case come Friday.

McEachern is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup last Friday with ease, bagging a 60-0 victory over Paulding County. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Indians with their most commanding win of the season.

McEachern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Calvin Pittman Jr, who rushed for 118 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 100 yards and one touchdown. Ty Nolan was another major influence, as he rushed for 73 yards and ran in a TD.

Meanwhile, Harrison made easy work of Campbell last Friday and carried off a 45-20 win. Given the Hoyas' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Spartans are ranked 137th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

McEachern better keep an eye on Aiden Watson. He was instrumental in Harrison's win, rushing for 63 yards and two TDs on only seven carries, while also throwing for 182 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes. They also got help from Dj Huggins, who showed off his sure hands for 107 receiving yards.

Harrison was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Campbell only rushed for 137.

McEachern's record is now 5-0. As for Harrison, their record now sits at an identical 5-0.

McEachern lost to Harrison on the road by a decisive 28-12 margin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Indians, Xavier Hill (who rushed for 108 yards and one score, and also threw for 126 yards and one TD) won't be suiting up this time.
