Algoma Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Algoma Christian got a massive performance out of Oak DeKuiper, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that DeKuiper has brought in this season. Christian Bouma was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Algoma Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
