St. Thomas More had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 84-58 margin over the St. Catherine's Angels. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Angels back in January, they had to take a 61-58 loss.

Despite the loss, St. Catherine's still got an impressive performance from Laila Collier-White, who went 8-for-13 on her way to 21 points along with five boards and three steals. Collier-White's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jayda King, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds.

St. Thomas More's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for St. Catherine's, they dropped their record down to 14-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
