Basketball Game Preview: Midland Valley Mustangs vs. Kingstree Blazers

The Midland Valley Mustangs and the Kingstree Blazers will face off at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Midland Valley has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 17.

On Friday, Midland Valley came up short against South Aiken and fell 45-36.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Kingstree's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 53-46 to Atlantic Collegiate Academy.

Midland Valley will have to contain Demia Mosley as she made an impact in Kingstree's last game. She posted 22 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Mosley a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Naydia Shaw, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Midland Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Kingstree, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.
