Basketball Recap: Central Arkansas Christian Comes Up Short

Central Arkansas Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were dealt a 66-20 defeat at the hands of the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Warhawks are ranked 60th).

Central Arkansas Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-7.

Central Arkansas Christian will head out on the road to square off against Robinson at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. Mt. Vernon-Enola has already played their next match, a 54-45 defeat against Conway Christian on the 14th.
