Recap: Bonneville Lakers vs. South Summit Wildcats

Bonneville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They won by a run and slipped past the South Summit Wildcats 13-12. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

Morgan Rich was a standout: she got on base in all six of her plate appearances with three doubles and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Ellee Summers, who went 5-for-5 with a home run and an additional run.

On South Summit's side, Brooklyn Peacock led a balanced group of hitters, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Olson, who scored two runs while going 4-for-5.

Even though they lost, South Summit lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Bonneville's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for South Summit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
