Forge Christian is 6-0-1 against Stargate School since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Fury are taking a road trip to face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Forge Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Forge Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Denver Christian and fell 2-1. Jayden Howell was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Forge Christian's goal came courtesy of Brendan Bartels, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Stargate School was not quite The Academy's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The loss was Stargate School's first of the season.

Forge Christian's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-2 and their overall record down to 5-2-3. As for Stargate School, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1-2.

Forge Christian took their win against Stargate School when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fury since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
