Volleyball Recap: Whitney Find Success

After losing to Davis Sr. the last time they met, Whitney decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Whitney came out on top against Davis Sr. by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Cooper Michael paced Whitney's offense, picking up nine kills. Michael got some help from Balin Sillence-Dhamrait and his 18 assists. Sillence-Dhamrait also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Thomas Murray, racking up three apiece.

Whitney's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Davis Sr., they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Whitney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Folsom on the 17th. As for Davis Sr., they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Oak Ridge on the 17th.
