After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pine Prairie, Destrehan was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let East St. John get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. Destrehan might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.
Londyn Lee made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had over her last six matchups. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
In other pitching news, Kallie Oubre looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
